DESCRIPTION:BST Academy are back with another Interclub this March. Our Interclub gives competitors the exciting opportunity to compete across multiple disciplines. With a large mat space\, elevated MMA cage\, and full sized boxing ring\, competitors can compete in Muay Thai\, K1\, MMA\, Boxing and BJJ. \nThe atmosphere is always electric at our Interclubs\, as our spectator’s area is always packed with friends and family. Embrace the cheers of the crowd as you gain invaluable experience in your chosen discipline(s). \n16oz gloves are required for the matchs. Groin guards and mouth guards must be worn. You cannot fight without them. \nBST have changing rooms\, lockers and showers for you to use. We will have refreshments but there is also a Sainsbury’s\, Boots\, Costa and Marks and Spencers within walking distance. \nJuniors: 09:00am \nAdults (14+): 12pm \nTickets:\nThe BST Academy Interclub is a multi-discipline interclub\, allowing competitors to compete in up to two different disciplines on the day. Please select the correct ticket type\, depending on whether you are competing in one or two disciplines. \nIf you do not complete the payment process via apple pay or card\, your fighting details will not be saved on the system. You will have to give your details again once you get to the Interclub and may not be matched as closely. \n(Please ensure all information entered is accurate. BST financially backs these students giving them the best chance to get them to the highest level possible. We have also trained them to become coaches. We also make our martial arts classes open to people with disabilities and boost one of the best MMA fighters with cerebral palsy in the country. \nBST Academy has already had much success with a number of MMA fighters being contracted with some of the largest promotions in the world. The fighters not only have great martial arts training but the facilities too at BST MMA Gym. For after training\, there is a sauna and steam room with hot and cold showers all to help with weight cutting when the fighters are getting ready to fight. \nOur MMA gym is run by 12 coaches\, some being World Champions and there after producing World Champions. During this time he was training and fighting in Muay Thai which also allowed him to share his knowledge with his large Personal Training client base. \nHaving retired from Muay Thai through injury\, Paul took the opportunity to pursue his passion for the sport by launching a Muay Thai club and thus Fierce Muay Thai was born in October 2017. \nAfter 15 years of paying a corporate gym rent to train his clients\, Paul decided to build his own Private Personal Training Studio and combine his businesses to become Fierce Muay Thai and Personal Training. DESCRIPTION:We’re back with another exciting Interclub. The Iron Sharpen Iron Interclub is your chance to test your skills in a controlled\, friendly environment. Our July Interclub gives fighters the unique opportunity to compete in Boxing\, MMA\, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu all on the same day. \nThe day will be filled with exciting match-ups and non-stop action. Our two mat spaces will run consecutively as we charge through the dozens of scheduled fights. \nPlease send your team list ahead of time. We will match up where possible. Any teams’ fighters not matched will be notified before the event! \nWeigh-Ins: 9.30am \nEvent Start: 10am \nRules:\nAll competitors must be 14+ \nMuay Thai/Boxing:\n\nAdults (16+) Bouts: 1.5 minutes x 3 – 30 Second Rest\n\nAll strikes are legal in adult bouts\, for boxing\, Muay Thai\, and Kickboxing.\n\n\nKids (7-15) Bouts: 1 minute x 3 – 30 Second Rest\n\nNo headshots allowed in kids’ bouts – unless agreed upon beforehand. All other strikes legal.\nHead Gear is ESSENTIAL for kids bouts with headshots.\n\n\n\nMMA:\n\nAdults (16+) Bouts: 2 minutes x 3 rounds – 40 Second Rest\n\nFull MMA Rules. Controlled Ground & Pound is allowed. No leg locks.\n\n\nKids (7-15) Bouts: 1 minute x 3 rounds – 40 Second Rest\n\nNo head shots in Kids MMA bouts.\n\n\n\nALL BOUTS ARE CONTROLLED CONTACT \nNo-Gi BJJ:\n\nNo-Gi BJJ is open to white belts and blue belts only.\nAll events are conducted under IBJJF rules. Our new venue is fully equipped with 2 dedicated training areas\, Mat 1 is 70ft long and hosts a 14ft fully functional Cage wall and a 16ft octagonal MMA cage\, a variety of bags and pull-up/muscle bar\, we also have various fitness equipment to help your conditioning! \nAt Ultimate Athlete\, we offer many different fighting styles. We specialize in MMA which is a full-contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques\, from a mixture of martial arts infused together in one exciting class but we also run dedicated classes in Muay Thai kickboxing the art of 8 limbs\, Freestyle Wrestling the oldest sport known to man\, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Gi and No gi) how to fold someone neatly and of course the original sport of Pugilism\, Boxing\, these classes are available for Adults and children age 7+.
