About Waterford Muay Thai:
The head coach at Waterford Muay Thai is John Walsh. John originally started training back in 1987 in Wado Ryu Karate with Instructor Eugene Noblett 6th Dan. He then turned to Kickboxing and joined Rocky’s gym where his coach was Tommy Lawlor. John became Irish WKA Champion during this time, and also ranked 4th in Europe and 6th in the World.
Roughly Fourteen years ago, John switched to Muay Thai where Sean Dillon and Craig O Flynn Coached him. His two coaches later suggested that John open up his own gym.
And the rest is history!
